The day will follow the same pattern as last year:

  • 10.15 arrive at Festival stage on the edge of Bede Park
  • 10.20 Introduction from the stage manager on stage 
  • 10.40 Arrive in Room 2.01/2.02 in De Montfort University’s Campus Centre, The Gateway LE2 7DP for refreshments. If you are not with a choir, pay in your £30 WaterAid donation
  • 11.00 warm up and rehearse massed songs, perform to each other if time 
  • 12.30 end rehearsal
  • 12.45 singers vacate Campus Centre building
  • Time for lunch, packed or purchased at the festival
  • 13.30 start to arrive at stage
  • 13.30 Speech by Assistant Mayor Piara Singh Clair
  • 13:32 Tanni Browne entertains, Bob Marley style!
  • 14:00 Tanni Browne joined by Leicester Amika Choir
  • 14.05 Leicester Amika Choir
  • 14.20 Close harmony from The Simpletones
