The day will follow the same pattern as last year:

  • 10.15 arrive at Festival stage on the edge of Bede Park
  • 10.20 Introduction from the stage manager on stage 
  • 10.40 Arrive in Room 2.01/2.02 in De Montfort University’s Campus Centre, The Gateway LE2 7DP for refreshments. If you are not with a choir, pay in your £30 WaterAid donation unless it has been covered through JustGiving 
  • 11.00 warm up and rehearse massed songs, perform to each other if time 
  • 12.30 end rehearsal
  • 12.45 singers vacate Campus Centre building
  • Time for lunch, packed or purchased at the festival.
  • 13.30 start to arrive at stage
  • 13.45 Shaftesbury School Steel Pans
  • 13.55 Speech
  • 14.05 Tanni Browne and Amika join in the Three Little Birds
  • 14.15 Amika Choir, after their set Amika Choir leave the stage
  • 14.25 Global Harmony, after their set Global Harmony leave the stage
  • 14.35 Red Leicester
  • 14.45 Members of other choirs join the stage behind Red Leicester
  • 14.50 Massed Sing of three songs Morena, Beyond the Sea and Love Call me Home
  • 15.05 Shaftesbury School Steel Pans
  • 15:15 The concert will end
  • 15.15 onwards, exact times TBC Choirs to busk to festival goers, an opportunity to showcase your choir’s repertoire to potential new members and raise more donations from the audience.
