Leicester Sing for Water is a fundraising singing event organised by members of several Leicester community choirs including Red Leicester Choir, Amika Choir, Chanterelders and Fosse Singers.
Our aim is to bring hundreds of voices together at Leicester’s Riverside Festival on Sunday June 5th 2011 to sing in glorious four-part harmony and raise vital funds for WaterAid through choirs’ fundraising activities, sponsorship and by collecting from the crowd. The charismatic Una May Olomolaiye will be leading the singing. The last three Leicester Sing for Water concerts at the Riverside Festival have raised over £17,000 for WaterAid.
